Coordinator, People and Strategy
Orion is a leading electricity network company based in Christchurch. We play a vital role in supplying electricity to our communities in central Canterbury. We offer an inclusive organisational culture that is built on our values:
Connecting with and building real relationships with our customers
Creating, by being innovative and adaptable
Collaborating with our people and our community to achieve successful outcomes.
At Orion we have a strong desire to learn and are highly motivated to achieve excellence in everything we do. We seek diversity of thought, and encourage an inclusive and flexible working environment. This, together with our flexible and adaptable approach, positions us well for the future. We seek to engage, build strong relationships and collaborate to create the best outcomes. Our commitment to health, safety and wellbeing is supported by our employee wellbeing programme which emphasises all facets of wellbeing. With a strong commitment to our community, our people are continually striving towards a sustainable future that can be shared by all.
This is a new role, initially focused on recruitment. You will manage an effective recruitment function from beginning to end, working with recruiting managers to ensure successful outcomes. This includes managing all employment-related documentation, including the application of employment agreements. Your knowledge of employment legislation and its application in the workplace will grow as you learn the fundamentals of working in a people-focused role, in our customer and community- focused business.
As you develop into this role and build relationships with your customers, you will have further opportunities to grow and develop your career, and move our business forward into the future.
If you share our values, are comfortable working with technology and have a relevant tertiary degree or work experience, this is the role for you.
We are seeking to progress this recruitment process before Christmas, with a start date in the New Year. For further information please contact Adrienne Sykes on 03 363 9739 or Jade Taylor on 03 363 9815.
