Service Desk Analyst


Our electricity network spans between the Waimakariri and Rakaia rivers and stretches from Banks Peninsula to the foot of Arthur’s Pass.  Building, maintaining and operating this network in a safe and reliable way is vital to ensure our community receives a safe and resilient supply of energy into the future. 

 The Service Desk Analyst will deliver exceptional service to consumers of all IT services and is responsible for the deployment, configuration and maintenance of devices and applications that support our line-of business, asset management and operational systems.

 This role focuses on providing first level IT Support to our people, including investigating, identifying and resolving faults as well as an underlying issues.

 

 The Candidate

To be successful in this role you will be an excellent communicator and team player. You’ll have strong attention to detail and enjoy working as part of a team

 You will also have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent industry experience
  • Sound understanding of: corporate devices; Microsoft Client OS and applications; managing user accounts via Active Directory; Office 365; networked printing and networking.
  • 2 Years’ + experience providing customer support in a service desk environment
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
